Power Efficiency Featured on Canada's Business News Network (BNN)

CEO Steve Strasser Interviewed by Kim Parlee and Paul Waldie on “SqueezePlay” on April 22nd to Discuss Benefits of E-Save Technology®

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Steve Strasser, CEO of Power Efficiency Corporation (OTCBB: PEFF), a clean tech company focused on energy efficiency technologies for electric motors, took part in an interview on Canada’s Business News Network (BNN) on Thursday, April 22nd to discuss the company’s E-Save Technology®. The technology was on display at the Earth Day energy and environmental showcase held earlier in the day in Washington, DC, and was recently incorporated into the escalators at the US Capitol Visitor Center.

On the BNN program “SqueezePlay,” business reporters Kim Parlee and Paul Waldie (the latter filling in for regular co-host Andrew Bell) spoke with Mr. Strasser about how a range of devices—from conveyor belts to washing machines to escalators—can harness E-Save Technology to operate more efficiently and use less energy when not carrying full loads. Mr. Strasser used escalators as an example to explain how the technology can vary electricity use in real time depending on the load, and noted that the resulting savings are typically 15-40% in appropriate applications. He also said that the cost of incorporating E-Save Technology was reasonable for even small to medium-sized companies and paid for itself within a short amount of time after installation.

“It was an honor to talk with Kim and Paul on BNN,” said Mr. Strasser. “Earth Day was an appropriate day to turn a public spotlight on E-Save Technology, which has the potential for helping the environment as well as saving companies a substantial amount on their electricity bills. As I mentioned during the interview, in recent months we have received UL certification, signed agreements with three major vertical transportation companies, set up a staff of sales representatives, and seen our revenue climb steadily.”

On “SqueezePlay,” Parlee and Bell and guests kick around the day’s most explosive stories in business and politics. To watch the segment online, please visit: http://watch.bnn.ca/squeezeplay/april-2010/squeezeplay-april-22-2010/ - clip292739
